so i had the first set of eeg tests today. the docs said that during the tests they would try to induce a few seizures to see what my brain was doing. the tech that was running the test was from india and didn't speak alot of english, but kept saying "don't be afraid. you will not know anything is happening." nice.
so the techs think they got their seizures, but they said only the doctors would be able to tell me for sure. here's the fun part: the next set of testing begins tomorrow morning at 7. and until i'm there, i'm not allowed to sleep. so we're staying awake the entire night. i say "we" because i'm forcing shelley and beth to stay up with me, and aubrey volunteered to come over and keep us company. so we bought lots of caffeine and sugar to keep us wired, and i think we're going to watch the second season of "house". it should be fun! but we really really wish kristen and annie were here. then it would be twice as fun.
so whoever has any of our cell phone numbers (and who happen to be awake in the middle of the night) can give us a call to encourage us to keep our eyes open.
and pray for the tests tomorrow. although it would be ideal to not have any more seizures and to be rid of all sickness, we're praying they find something specific in these tests to know exactly what is going on. we'll update when we know something. thanks for all your prayers!

Oh man!! I wish I was there too. And although I'm not a big "House" fan, I'd love to slug down caffeine and sit with my sisters all night long.
rats, i missed this post or else i would've called you in the middle of the night. sorry!! i hope the tests go well - love you!
you owe me a BIG sonic coke!
"How does a guy on death row get heroin?"
